      Working in the Central PMO within Strategic Change & IT, my role varied along with the team structure supporting BAU and the Digital Portfolio. Core responsibilities included:• Stakeholder Management – reporting up to Director level, developing rapport, trust and credibility• Reporting and MI – analysis, challenge and production of reporting across £120m+ Change Runway• Change Impacts – making visible all known customer and business impacts • Process Improvement – shortened a 2 day reporting process to 2 hours• Programme Assurance – proactively created a quality assurance report to challenge, improve and embed• Lessons Learnt/ Project Closure – Formal gated reviews and consolidation of lessons learnt for MI analysis and reportingEarlier on in my role in the IT PMO I was responsible for managing budgets, forecasting and resourcing for the whole of Digital Systems £5m BAU Portfolio. Core responsibilities were:• Monthly Reporting into the Head of Change & Finance – cost analysis, month end finance reconciliation, challenge & escalation• Financial/ Resource forecasting of £5m teams – additionally lead the forecasting of whole of IT through 2 restructures (300+ resources)• Supply & Demand management of the Digital portfolio 150+ resources – mostly Agile Factory model teams• Procurement & relationship management – lead working group to solve issues with internal procurement processes• Process improvement – created invoicing process to clear a backlog of £1.5m invoices• Project Assurance – developed an approach to Agile Gated Assurance and conducted gate reviews to all IT projects Show less Initially contracted to do an administration role under a£20m Security Programme for a £5m project. I was quickly able to take more responsibilities and challenges to establish myself as a key member of the project, very closely supporting the Technical Lead and Project Manager. Responsibilities included: • Project Support – Reporting, planning, analysis• Reporting and MI • Data Analysis – mapping of 2000+ users to roles• Firewall rule creation – 6500+ desktops in scope• Software – Tufin, Splunk, Active Directory• Incident management• Lead daily calls• Service Change management • Relationship management• Test management Show less Chosen out of thousands of applicants to join Prudential's first Apprenticeship Scheme to work within the in-house design agency 'Pru Agency' I gained experience across all Agency functions ranging from filming at Prudential Ride London to Events. Working mainly within the Traffic Team I was responsible for proof checking, sending artwork to print and keeping job records up to date, all of which reported monthly via a Quality Assurance report. To enable accurate planning and forecasting I worked with the Traffic manager to understand the clients requirements. On a weekly basis, and quite often daily depending on priory calls, I planned the work via Filemaker to the teams (10 people) job planners.My role also rotated to working as part of the Studio Team where I created artwork and literature all of which had to be turned around on very tight deadlines. As well as this providing platform to work with varied business areas at all levels it allowed me to develop skills using programmes like Quark, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Show less

      Portfolio PMO Analyst (Reporting) - Transformation Office

      Prudential and M&G Investments (FTSE 100 companies) made the announcement to merge together to enlist on the London stock exchange in 2017. The Transformation Office (TO) was the governing body of assurance to report and audit the programmes delivering this £1.2bn of investment. Working in the central office reporting team, I was responsible for reporting and challenging when the benefits delivery of the ‘Support’ Platform £150m were at risk to the most senior level of M&G Prudential.• Creation and continuous improvement to reporting structure – to include terms of reference, reporting on RAG/Highlights, risk escalation, cost analysis, benefits realisation, plans, resourcing, design and delivery dependencies• Status Reporting up to CEO level – conducted monthly and quarterly reviews of programmes, highlighting where intervention may have been required and escalating any thematic issues to Transformation portfolio• Quality Assurance – standardised a framework, embedded and reported on issues and trend analysis • Milestone benefit tracking – rolled out tracker to each programme under Support Platform (10 programmes)• Lesson learnt – lead internal reviews of TO and with the delivery teams, embedded improvements and rolled out to Webex audiences of 100+ managers giving guidance on best practice• Risk Management – RAID review and escalation• Relationship management – built strong relations with the Platform I supported through regular 1:1’s• Reporting Calendar – to include all governance forums and Board meetings, meeting dependencies and roles and responsibilities Show less
