  As a member of the Scientific Research and Experimental Development ("SR&ED") Group, I specialized in the preparation of the financial component of R&D tax credit claims, for a wide variety of industries (e.g. Energy, Oil & Gas, TMT and Manufacturing).The preparation of the claims entailed the performance of activities such as (i) the analysis of the tax legislation and application policies, (ii) the assessment of R&D activities executed by the client and (iii) the examination, treatment and computation of claimable expenditures. A high level of coordination with the technical preparers of the claims (e.g. scientists and engineers) was required in order to ensure consistency of analysis and unity of the final claim.During my secondment in Canada, I have been involved in the design and implementation of improvements to the Project Management Office ("PMO") tools and Quality Assurance ("QA") procedures.
