      During my time with Merrill Lynch I was able to develop skills dealing with analyzing different forms of investments. I spent most of my time filtering through municipal bonds to pitch to my manager. I also dealt with mutual funds and stocks. I was able to create a solid base of financial skills during this internship.

      As an Operations Leadership Intern with Amazon, I was able to develop strong people management skills. My responsibilities included placing, managing, and interacting with the workforce, monitoring product flow throughout the fulfillment center, and enhancing aspects of the fulfillment center to improve operations.My final project for this internship dealt with creating and rolling out a mobile check-in system for the "Rainbow Receive" line and making enhancements to the conveyor belts to prevent products from falling and/or jamming the line. As a team, Deloitte worked closely with the Department to create the Virginia Case Management System (VaCMS) and CommonHelp (CH) client portal. The Deloitte team successfully provided application, eligibility, etc. functionality for Child Care (CC), Medicaid (MA), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Energy Assistance (EA). My main role was serving as an analyst with the Child Care team which included 1 Manager, 1 Technical lead, 4 Developers, and myself. I played a key role as the link between the client and the technical team across 3 System Enhancement bundles, which included 8 releases and over 100 requirements spanning across multiple modules including Data Collection, Vendor Management, Authorization Management, Reports, and more.My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, Use Case creation and updates, Interface documentation creation and updates, Quality Assurance Testing (QAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), requirements gathering, and Level of Effort (LOE) document creation. I also worked with the client to approve User Acceptance Testing (UAT) requirements, worked with the client to resolve any system defects/issues, worked with the technical team to understand the release requirements and system defects/issues, worked with other Benefit Program (BP) teams, and updated the Security Matrix for role to screen mappings, role to report mappings, etc. During my time as a BTA, I was able to work on multiple proposals for the states of Colorado, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio for programs such as Mobile Attendance Tracking, Child Welfare, Integrated Eligibility, and Child Care.
