  At Paradise, an award-winning advertising and marketing agency, I worked alongside the public relations team to promote clients such as Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, the MOTE Marine Laboratory, the Tony Jannus Aviation Society, PEMCO, and Seminole County Convention and Visitors Bureau. As the public relations intern, I helped brainstorm on campaigns, drafted media releases, organized and designed itineraries for press trips, pitched story ideas, and assisted in the planning of the 2013 Tony Jannus Aviation Society Awards Ceremony, as well as the event press conference. ​ Show less

  As the account intern at PP+K, a globally recognized advertising agency, I assisted account executives by opening an average of five jobs per day to link the clients’ concepts with the creative team. This included providing creative direction for single ads, as well as entire campaign creative for events such as the Florida Aquarium’s Brews by the Bay and Guppyween. In addition, I assisted with radio production for Big Boy Restaurants, providing creative direction on copy for radio spots as well as working with the producer through the process, and authored two competitive analysis for Carrier AC and Tires Plus. I attended weekly status calls, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings, including the Florida Aquarium, Tires Plus, Big Boy Restaurants, Visit Tampa Bay, Checkers, Solid Gold, and Bright House Networks.   At Dunn&Co, I collaborated with four interns on a campaign for St. Petersburg Distillery. We brainstormed and drafted ten ideas and worked with the copywriters and art directors to polish and execute drafts of those ideas. At the end of the internship, my team pitched three final concepts to the creatives and account executives. Through this internship, I learned the importance of supporting team members through the pitch and being able to provide the reasoning behind every decision being presented. Show less
