Humanitarian History, Raoul Wallenberg Prize American Swedish Institute The prize recognizes a project that exemplifies a person or group of people who made significant historical contribution with their work to improve the welfare of others. I was awarded the prize for my senior individual website titled "John Doar: Breaking the Caste System in the South." The website included personal interviews and oral history with Robert Doar, President and Morgridge Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington D.C.

Spirit of the Youth The Mankato Community Education and Recreation Advisory Council Annual award given to outstanding young people, individuals, and organizations that support youth. Nominated by the public and accepted by the committee. Honored with the group I was involved in called MOFF, Moving Our Futures Forward. Specifically worked on the logistics of creating, ordering and finding a historical marker commemorating the speech given in our high school auditorium by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1962.

Triple A Award - Academics, Arts, Athletics Minnesota State High School League Represented Mankato West High School as Triple A nominee. High School Administration selects two students from each graduating class who show outstanding effort in Academics, the Arts, and Athletics.
