  For 4 years I worked as Track Photographer for Vassar Photography in the Bay Area. In this position I developed and administered the www.vassarphotography.com website. I worked with national and local media to provide the necessary images and copy as well as collaborated with the public relations staff at horse racing facilities in the creation and production of graphics and promotional design. During racing days I provided in person customer to patrons in capturing photographs for them and processing the days photos. Additionally, I was the primary operator for photographic services for the Humboldt County Fair from 2006 - 2009 and 2011 - 2013. I managed my own travel and lodging, equipment and inventory, and operations in servicing the California Authority of Racing Fairs contract for photographic service. Show less

  Graphics Manager

  In my contract position as the Graphics Manager at Sports Zone Imaging for a year (October 2009 - October 2010) my responsibilities were wide ranging. Primarily, I was charged with creating original imagery and graphics for a full suite of sports photography products while working with community organizations and youth sports groups. I also worked with these groups in the scheduling and planning of their photo shoots as well as equipment procurement and staffing.

  Owned and operated my own business focused on pool service and repairs. In the role of owner/operator I was responsible for all public outreach and advertising initiatives as well as customer service interactions. I designed and maintained a company website and blog and created all content relating to both. I built and fostered relationships with vendors and industry contacts and managed all financial aspects including AP/AR. I was solely responsible for writing service estimates, invoices, sales orders and service contracts. Additionally, I was active in the Conejo Valley chapter of the Independent Pool and Spa Service Organization and attended multiple seminars and classes eventually becoming a Certified Aquatic Equipment Installer.
