The Community & Regional Planning section offers expertise and technical assistance to County Departments, regional planning agencies, and local governments involved in multi-municipal efforts. This section’s focus is on Countywide planning policies, activities, and documents, such as the County comprehensive plan that is the framework upon which all County planning strategies are built and the benchmark for all 49 municipalities. I was Delaware County's highway and bicycle planner in the transportation section. In this position I created the county's first bicycle plan and wrote and administered 3 grants totaling $400,000 for study and engineering for trail projects.
