  When I worked as a Manufacturing Engineer with Honeywell turbocharge, my position was to work together with design department in order to release new products making manufacturing work instructions, CNC programs, processes layout, Capability studies, Gage R&R with new gages, visual aids, production employees training and together with quality department, PPAP documentation. Another duties was to analyze processes capability, design new production cells, new machinery qualification, develop and provide production training, release production part numbers together with all PPAP steps.   As a manufacturing engineer, I worked different roles, first project was introducing a new machining process to our company, where new machines where qualified, moved and installed at Mexicali building, plus all process documentation was created, Work sheet instructions, capability studies, Gage R&R, Job safety Analysis, Quality process plan, PFMEA, Min-Max system for new cutting tools on use, preventive maintenance program, hiring and training plan for new employees. During second project, maintenance improvement was assigned to me to reduce downtime and develop preventive maintenance routines coordinating maintenance engineers. Third project, Improve production performance on new assembly line, where downtime was attacked and improved, some production machines were improved, people were trained and some production performance tracking reports were implemented. Project impacted was 100% improvement on production output. Last project, machining processes transferred from Long Beach,Ca to Mexicali,Mexico. Very active member on design of new layout in Mexicali building with machining processes in. Coordinate activities to assure machines requirements were installed before receive machines, plus a new coolant consumption reduction project was developed and implemented to reduce coolant costs from $1M to 300k yearly. نمایش موارد کمتر
