  I have completed a graduate internship programme for ten months at dewcrisp agricultural farm in delmas mpumalanga where i have gained extensive experience with regard to soil preparation, soil sampling, planting, pest control, irrigation, fertilization through fertigation and spreading of granular fertilizers, scouting for pests and diseases. I also gained sound technical knowledge with regard to other farming operations such as liming, manuring and harvesting. I was also given a role to supervise the team that was responsible for weed control throughout the farm for three months. I worked under greenhouse and open land environments. I also worked with the company’s quality controller at the receiving area as well as the packhouse during my internship. Show less
