  I did my vocational training at GNFC Bharuch in Methanol Plant(570 MTPD). I learned methanol production process from synthesis gas. I also came in touch with the steam reforming process of CO2 to produce SYNGAS. Specially catalysts used in that process caught my attention and since then I started reading research papers related.Also there I designed PFD (Process Flow Diagram) of whole plant using EDRAW Max and they are currently using it for training purpose.

  I am part of the technical services team which looks after the inhouse process modification and process design and also does the basic and detailed process engineering for upcoming projects.I have been extensively working with different simulation software like Aspen Plus steady state and dynamic, HTRI, Aspen EDR, CHEMCAD, SiNet and I have designed various unit process including distillation columns, Heat exchangers, Compressors, Steam turbines / Energy conservation turbines and many more.As part of projects, I have prepared P&ID, material and energy balance, designed multiple heat exchangers, distillation columns, reactors, cooling water and chilled water networks and sized control valves, piping, pumps and safety valves. I have prepared process datasheets for all those equipment and instrumentation for the projects.Also as part of routine performance monitoring I have rated and simulated heat exchangers and built simulation models for compressors and turbines for efficiency evaluation. I have also been part of Hazop team which conducted the HazOp study of various existing plants and upcoming projects. Show less
