  Through several summers, served as a camp staff member at Massawepie Scout Camps, working to provide exciting program experiences to more then 2000 campers annually. Consistently grew in my roles and responsibilities year after year. Staff assignments included:- Assistant Program Director (2017), assisting in the management of ten program areas and directly overseeing the BarkEater camper honor program utilized by 1200 campers and the Counselor-in-Training Program, providing a guided training experience to 25 prospective counselors over three-week sessions, overseeing curriculum and duty assignments.- Ecology/Conservation Director (2016), managing five staff members in the development and implementation of an engaging educational experience focused on nature, environmental science, biology, and conservation.- Assistant Area Director for Ecology/Conservation (2015)- Ecology/Conservation Staff (2013-14)- Counselor-in-Training (2012) Show less

Assisted department staff in the delivery of outreach programs for high school and middle school students, including ESF in the High School and eCybermission.   - Directed the summer and year-round program operations of Massawepie Scout Camps, a 3700-acre scout reservation in the Adirondack Mountains. - Grew net summer camp revenue by $122,000 (62%) over 2022.- Served as staff advisor to Council Properties Committee, supporting operation of two camp properties and managing $300,000 capital improvement budget.- Supervise the National Camp Accreditation Program within the Council, giving leadership to annual accreditation and program implementation for all long-term, short-term, and day camps. In 2023, managed the Council's five-year camping authorization. Show less - Led transition efforts in a District re-alignment occurring in May 2021 to build a new volunteer team and culture for a new service area covering ten towns in western Monroe County- Doubled Cub Scouting enrollment in the Greece Central School District, Monroe County's most underserved community- Led Council efforts for new unit development and organization. Drive towards fulfillment of Council's goal to increase number of Scouting programs operating throughout five-county service area. Manage volunteer and staff team efforts toward this goal.- Served as staff advisor to the Council Training Committee, providing support and guidance to its mission to provide training opportunities that prepare volunteer Scout leaders to better serve youth. Led a volunteer team to operate the only in-person summer camp organized by the Council in 2020.- Worked with volunteer commissioner staff to improve existing Scouting units, leading to an increase in units earning Gold distinction in Journey to Excellence (BSA KPI metrics for Scouting programs) from 25 in 2018 to 37 in 2019.
