My Ph.D. thesis title is "A Mass-Conserving hybrid interface capturing method for geometrically complicated domains", I have defended my thesis on June 15th, 2016.As a result of my Ph.D. research, I have developed an efficient and robust method for the simulation of immiscible two-phase flows over unstructured control volumes (2D and 3D).

The key aspects of my proposed method are:● An efficient coupling between the Level-Set (LS ) and Volume of Fluid (VoF).● Obtained the mass-conserving LS field up to machine precision.● Developed analytical relation between the LS and VoF field.● Eulerian-Lagrangian VoF advection.● Coupling between the LS and VoF is iteration-free.● The proposed method is highly parallelizable.● Localize nature of discontinuous Galerkin finite element (DG) method has been exploited.
