      First position as a Class 1 driver. Team long haul driver hauling goods in 48’ and 53’ Van\Reefer trailers to and from various locations throughout Canada and United States. Before becoming the Lead Driver after a short four months, I created the simple yet detailed paperwork system to be used in all units using what was present and ideas from the owner and myself. Teach and mentor new drivers. Training them to become Lead Drivers for new equipment as was purchased. Paperwork always neat and correct for D.O.T when requested, border crossings, customs brokers, customers, Owner and Veri staff. Strong communication (via cell phone) with dispacth to keep the unit moving and inform owner of repairs and maintenance needs. Qualcomm satellite systems used to dispatch, track and communicate.       Trucking/Courier company whom hired out tractor trailer and 1-3 ton drivers for city p&d and short haul. Tractor trailer drivers hired to cartage companies for hourly and sometimes even contract based work. I quickly became a valued employee having exceptional customer service, organizational, administrative and driving skills which kept me in demand by customers until I worked and carried a contract that was awarded. Can explain more in person at interview. Sometimes used for highway work loading at various Southern Alberta locations. Obtained LCV (Longer Combination Vehicle) certification. Yard Person & Equipment Operator: Operate John Deere 444E front end wheel loader moving product from large Quonsets to load trucks, move and unload rail cars, maintain dirt yard and clear paved lots. Operate scale house weighing incoming and outgoing trucks ensuring nobody overweight loads and maximum payload given. Provide paperwork. Receive goods. Dependant on contractor needs. Worked at: Suncor (Millennium, Fort Hills), Syncrude (Main, Aurora), Shell (Scotford, Albian Sands) and Conoco Phillips (Surmont 2) sites. Utility drivers professionally operate all styles of commercial vehicles. MINIMUM training required by Teamsters Local 362 for dispatch consideration: Valid Class 1 License, ORO-OSSA, CSTS-09, T.D.G\W.H.M.I.S, C.V.I, Air Brakes, Weights & Dimensions, Cargo Securement, P.D.I.C, and must agree to and pass pre employment and post incident drug and alcohol testing. Operate 1 ton and larger flat deck truck, 9\15 passenger van or Bus, Tractor trailer, Zoom boom (Telehandler), Forklift, Front end loader and 30-100 ton straight and articulating Rock trucks to transport workers, tools, materials, supplies, small equipment, and excavated material/debris to construct and maintain Oil Sand and Industrial sites. Participate in daily toolbox meetings. Complete a detailed F.L.R.A (Field Level Risk Assessment, JHA, SPA, START etc.) describing tasks, hazards, elimination, and special equipment needed.
