  The African Angel Academy is Viridian's flagship programme that trains and connects new angel investors from across the continent. Since launching the pilot in early 2020, we've trained 600+ new angel investors from 23 countries.- Spearheaded the successful implementation of three 15-week cohort programmes with angel investors across 23 different African countries. - Recruited over 230 angel investors across Africa and the diaspora across 3 cohort programmes.- Coordinated 8 virtual startup showcase events featuring founders from different African countries for potential investment from African-based angel investors.- Managed 3 concurrent mentorship programmes with aspiring angel group leaders over 6-monthperiods, managing budgets of over R300,000 (ZAR).- Designed and implemented an email marketing strategy using Mailchimp, and Email Hunter for programme recruitment, in-programme, and post-programme communications.- Conducted milestone update meetings with programme grant funders, including the UK-Tech Hub, The Dutch Good Growth Fund, and the Dutch Development Bank.- Coordinated 30+ virtual training sessions on Zoom with audiences from Africa, Europe, and the United States.- Developed and administered a RACI matrix and GANTT charts for project team members to assist with task delegation.- Trained and onboarded new team members including a programme administrator and a French-speaking programme manager to assist with the flagship programme.- Supported Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) reporting for grant funders, showcasing programme impact effectively.
