  Motorsport Race Marshal

  I worked as a volunteer race marshal at the 24 Hours of LeMons race weekend (March 31-2 April 2017) - Taupo event. My duties included marshaling the pit lane exit which meant i was in-charge of releasing vehicles from the pits back out onto the race track. I was also in charge of the final inspection of the vehicles/ drivers and making sure everything is in order before allowing them to re join the race. I also did some flag marshaling duties throughout the weekend as well. I am a member of this Motorsport club and i usually race in their events however i was unable to do the Taupo race so instead volunteered to help out with the running of it. In doing so i learned a lot more about Motorsport and obtained further experience on the managing of a major Motorsport event. Show less
