I spent time in the Real estate, Wills and Civil litigation departments where I assisted in a variety of legal tasks leading me to develop professional skills as I was able to work directly with paralegals and associates to assist real clients. This is key as a huge part of being a solicitor is working with clients and I feel I gained valuable expertise from a diverse group within the firm on how to work. In addition, it gave me the chance to see how different departments operated and provided an insight to a real life law firm. Show less
