  Primary responsibility was to manage and maintain the Active Directory infrastructure, including introducing group policy into the environment. Other major responsibility was to implement, manage and maintain the Windows 2003 servers. This included leveraging performance monitoring tools (typically Windows System Monitor). I also managed our Citrix Presentation Servers ensuring that published applications were reliable and available to our four remote offices. I also implemented and managed various 3rd party applications including enterprise backup (Symantec Backup Exec) and enterprise antivirus/antispyware software (CA's Integrated Threat Manager).From the desktop and end user support end, I assisted users with software, hardware and network connectivity/access issues that level one Help Desk could not resolve.
