      I studied book selling at university and was an apprentice at La Machine a Lire, independent bookshop specialised in demanding literature and humanities.I wrote my thesis on the problematic of offering in store demanding and less known works of literature while keeping a profitable business.

      Translation of works of fiction (19th to 21st century novels) and non fiction (humanities and current affairs) for the book industry. For my thesis, I translated the novel Girl Meets Boy by Ali Smith, contemporary retelling of the myth of Iphis and Ianthe, in Ovid's Metamorphoses. I worked on honouring her very creative style and reflecting on how to translate grammatical plays on gender.
