IBM Resource on Volkswagen Financial Services ProjectMy role in this project is to provide support and solutions over the Project specific Applications, to find solutions to incidents in a timely manner, depending on their priority, to respect the SLAs, as well to resolve the requests and changes that arise. The databases used are DB2, the Programs are developed in Cobol and partially Assembler and the operating system used is Mainframe. The main Tools used: Service Manager - Ticketing ToolXinfo - to check Information's about the Batch or Online Jobs, Applications that contain the Jobs and information like datasets that are connected with these Jobs and Applications, and so on. Intrasys or Host On Demand (Mainframe) - where the Project specific Applications run, where the programs can be checked, analyzed by source code, compiled within ReleasesBeta92 - to check the JCL Job logs Beta93 - to check the Job lists RVS - to verify the transmission of Data QMF - for SQL queries HpALM - for Testing and documenting the Incidents before Release Resy - for recording incidents in Release ITP-Panorama - to search for programs or DB2 Tables Vap2Host - to check the XML transmissions from and to other systems EJES - to verify the transactions Status. The Standup meetings are one of the daily tasks, in which the AMS team discusses the tickets entered the previous day, together with the development team and the coordination team. (this task is made weekly by each colleague in rotation)The most challenging part within the project is when the problems must be fixed through program adjustment and for this, a short program analyze must be made to determine the cause of the problem, then a template analyze is created and sent with the Incident to the Development Team. This project started from the end of 2017 and the KT took 6 months, the whole KT was done in Germany Braunschweig. The agreed language within the project is German. Show less IBM Subcontracted resource on Husi - AMS job-platform Austria In this project I had a tester role. As a tester I had to test two job platforms, to find bugs, rise defects, write test cases and to document them. - First platform is an internal platform called Curam and it is dedicated for the AMS consultants. - The second platform is an external platform dedicated for work-seeking persons and companies. These two platforms communicate through Curam Bridge and CAGEN(core apps). Data from external jobplatform is transmitted to Curam Bridge then to CAGEN and from CAGEN are transmitted to Curam. In Curam bridge I had the possibility to see the start and end time when a modification was made, the name of the modification, duration and the state. In core apps can be seen everything, what comes from internal and external platform. The modified data from external job platform is transmitted in core apps as segments and each specific segment represent a modification. I also had to verify if these segments were correctly generated and if the data was complete. The platforms were splitted in use cases. I had to test the profiles that the users create to find jobs, to check if the profiles were set to the correct status(draft, active, inactive archived), if the profile had matching results with the companies which provided job offers, if the modifications made on the profile were correctly updated and correctly displayed in Curam, for AMS consultants. The user had the possibility to change the profile in the AMS sovereignty and in this case each modification in external job platform had to be approved by the AMS customer. Also for this action was generated a specific segment in core apps. The tasks and defects were opened in RTC (Rational Team Concert), and assigned to development team. The use cases and test cases were written in Tosca and each defect found was documented there. Show less IBM Subcontracted resource on Maersk Projects In this project I had a tester role (functional part) As a tester I had to test mobile applications, to find bugs, defects, write test cases and to test the adapters( through these adapters the database communicate with the application). - First application had 12 Sprints, and it was called Maersk Counters, here the user had the possibility to pickup and return a container, to find and add an invoice, and to request refund. -The second application within this project is called Vessel Audit and it had 6 Sprints. Here you have the possibility to select, add a vessel, add vessel particularities, create a technical inspection report and see the previous reports ( hull section, performance, equipment ). -The third application was called Audit-Containers and it had 7 Sprints. Here the user had the possibility to set up a new inspection for the containers, to add comments about the condition of the container and to take picture to the damaged sections and attach them to that inspection, to rate and add a result to the respective container, and add a mention whether the audit passed or not. The tasks and defects were opened in RTC (Rational Team Concert), I have also write test cases in RQM (Rational Quality Manager) Through the adapters the application communicate with the database and I had to test with SoapUI, if the BL's (bill of lading) are returned correctly from the database, if the login pick up correctly the user and password, if the token for the user is available and functional, etc. I have used SDK Manager and AVD manager to launch the virtual devices, but the most tests were made on real devices. Within these projects I have worked in a test driven development team, with Agile metodologies / Scrum. Show less IBM Subcontracted resource on Abbott Project. My role was to support the Spare Parts Order Control system, the Inventory Control System and especially the EDI system. The SPOC and LIC systems are written in RPG running on iSeries with DB2 Database. Through these systems I had to create warehouses, distributors, field service engineers, give accesses to users to work with them and to monitor the active jobs that delivered the data. If the jobs stopped working, I had to find the cause and a solution. For example it was a case when because of a point after an email adress, the job stopped working and all orders from UK were blocked. The Data transmission using different EDI forms is made using the BIS (Business integration Server from Seeburger Germany). Through BIS were delivered the invoices, faxes, orders and I had to make sure that the servers are up and running. BIS had two servers, one for orders, invoices and one for faxes. In some cases I had to open incidents to be able to make data changes, for this, I have used AIR(Area Incidents Reporting Tool) here I had to describe step by step what needs to be changed and why, and afer that the manager had to approve the data change. Only after these operations were done, I was able to make changes into the database or programs. During the project, for three weeks I have worked on Abbott Germany in Delkenheim, I went there for some trainings and knowledge transfer. For querying, updating, delete data from databases I have used SQL. Within this project I have used Webex to schedule meetings and to record the knowledge transfer. I have also shared my knowledges and train an EDI team from IBM India. During the whole project I have worked on a virtual machine and I have used Citrix. Show less
