I also operated all communication and navigation systems, while also targeting and deploying the many air-to-ground and air-to-air weapons of the Hornet. Attended Naval Fighter Weapons Ground School (TOPGUN). Taught tactics and avionics operations to new pilots in the squadron. Coordinated numerous Marine helicopter squadrons, ground units, and Naval units for exercises and operations that included day and night live fire exercise involving ground and air units across multiple military services and government agencies.
