      In 2009 and 2010 I deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as a member of B Co. 3/75th Ranger Regiment. In Afghanistan I took part in combat operations earning my Combat Infantryman’s Badge. Fresh out of the U.S. Army Airborne School and Ranger Indoctrination Program I was assigned to be a rifleman. After my first deployment I was assigned to carry the M320 Grenade launcher. When our unit began suffering heavy casualties on my second deployment I began acting as an assistant gunner helping our machine gunner with his load. That experience eventually helped me to grow my skillset to be able to lead a machine gun team. Show less
