  As Senior Manager in the Office of Communications and Marketing I employed strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills to facilitate the Faculty’s awareness and engagement goals via effective communications and marketing.Key Achievements+ Established a robust email marketing program to increase engagement with the Faculty's internal and external audiences. Open rates averaged 40-60%, surpassing both prior internal averages and industry averages.+ Played a pivotal role in the successful transition of multiple annual events to a virtual format in response to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. Led the development and implementation of digital strategies to facilitate this transition, including the creation of custom event landing pages, targeted HTML emails for diverse attendee audiences, and curation and sharing of content to increase engagement within the virtual format. + Led communications for the Faculty's annual Giving Day fundraising campaigns. Managed logistical challenges of contributions from multiple stakeholders as well as creating and publishing on-brand messaging throughout the 24-hour campaign. The Faculty's Giving Day campaigns consistently demonstrated some of the highest social media metrics year-on-year and surpassed fundraising targets annually. Led concept generation, pre-production logistics and project management, as well as travelling to each site to host interviews. The final campaign demonstrated strong engagement on the Faculty's channels and was amplified on UBC brand channels. Show less My role at UBC was initially a grant-funded position integral to the launch of the 'Story of Medicines', a $1M interactive exhibition showcasing the contributions of pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences to human health. I coordinated all advertising and outreach campaigns for the launch year and established our tour program, hosting tours for individuals and groups from around the world.Key Achievements+ Hosted over two hundred 'Story of Medicines' tour program participants in 2013 alone.+ The 'Story of Medicines' and the newly opened Pharmaceutical Sciences Building garnered attention from several local and international outlets, including a feature in Architizer magazine.
