  Starting as a basic attendant in 2020, growing in this department on Mt. Seymour has been a learning experience with sentimental value. Working with many young staff, ensuring teenaged employees had a positive first work experience was a favourite role of mine. This was done by linking occupational health and safety with guiding and leadership skills.

  Lead a team of 2-6 crew members maintaining the features of Manning Park's campgrounds, trailheads, and day use areas to the standards of BC Parks and wildlife safety regulations. Educate park guests on wildlife safety procedures and backcountry etiquette. Ensure all bans, laws, and restrictions are being adequately observed. Is an active community member of the Manning Park Resort Staff Housing network.

  Department supervisor for Mt. Seymour’s Snowplay area. Promotes an inclusive and fun environment for guests of all levels to make memories on the mountain while tubing and tobogganing. Actively leads a team of 26 staff, and is dedicated to creating a positive work experience for new and young employees.
