  Counseling included people from all walks of life (individuals and couples), as well as some children and adolescents. Challenges included people dealing with anxiety, self-esteem issues, premarital counseling, marital problems, personality disorders, and regular people seeking to live more optimally. Additional responsibilities included counseling one day a week at Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and counseling at Martinez Street Women's Center (MSWC).

Lanny desires to help people experience fulfillment through learning to live true to their unique design. He especially has a heart to help couples learn to understand and enjoy each other.
