Also was responsible for the backup and restoration of user data using Arcserve and image preservation using Ghost. Onsite at ZurichKemper in multiplatform environment. I was responsible for desktop and server network support, provided end-user support. The environment was a mix of Novell and Windows machines and servers. I provided Helpdesk support and mentoring, was involved in user administration of both Novell and Windows server platforms. Was a team lead for the Zurich location move, co-managing software rollouts in co-ordination with a client liaison. Performed general administration in relation to security objects. This included creating, deleting and editing of user accounts, rights and policies. Administered rights and security of resources through GPO’s. Recent project took a small shop with imminent large expansion and built 2 esxi hosts, converted network to virtual from physical using Consolidation Manager once hosts were built. Created vlans for separate business ventures , within the network, and created multiple golden image templates for future expansion and cloning. Client wanted HA, easily expandable network, low cost of future hardware, i.e. ROI based upon an underlying Windows based network/ system. Show less
