      Electrical Engineer

      Worked closely with the US Navy's P-3 Orion aircrews and ground crews to post-process recorded sonobuoy data that was used to locate and track soviet and third-world submarines. Primary job was a contracting officer's technical representative for the design, installation and training of the Fast Time Analysis System (FTAS). FTAS was a ground-based DFT analysis tool used by ASW (anti-submarine warfare) personnel to assist follow-on aircrews in identifying the target using the acoustic information collected by the aircrews.       Designed and wrote mixed-signal test routines for analog/digital integrated curcuits. Test platforms included Teradyne, LTX, Cadence, Trillium, and Sentry IC testers. Code written in many languages (typically C or Pascal), but were also platform-unique. Test code performed final production and wafer sort testing as well as engineering characterization prior to program release. Job task included final board test design, probecard design, and any other hardware or cabling needed.
