      Finance position supporting the development of the USCG budget. Staff officer at 3-star Atlantic Area command. Responsible for all depot maintenance requirements for 132 USCG patrol boats around the world. Oversaw branch of 50 personnel with $132M budget. Overcame numerous challenges including complex Indo-Pacific logistics requirements for cutters in Guam, unique weather impacts on ship repair in Alaska, and sustaining the latest cutters in Bahrain. Closely integrated with acquisition project office and Bollinger Shipyards for the 154’ Fast Response Cutter. Depot maintenance section chief. Led 15 personnel with $40M budget to execute depot maintenance requirements for USCG patrol boats in District 7. Integrated maintenance requirements for new 154’ Fast Response Cutter. Also supported forward deployed assets in Bahrain. Full time graduate student at University of New Orleans. Lead field engineer for the USCG tug and barge fleet. Conducted vessel surveys, designed maintenance specifications, and executed complex dry dock and dockside maintenance. On site COR. Oversaw 14 availabilities including 6 dry docks from start to finish. Detailed knowledge of engine alignment, propulsion repair and installation, paint inspection, structural repairs, deck machinery, and other facets of vessel operation/sustainment.
