    • Unison Networks Ltd

      Dec 2016 - Feb 2019
      Summer Student

I spent three summers (~3 months each) working with Unison during the University breaks. During these summer placements I got the opportunity to work in a range of business units and got first hand experience of the electricity distribution industry. One of these summers I worked in the Asset Information team assisting to collect and document critical information about network assets. The second summer period saw me working within the Asset Management team on two self driven projects. One project involved developing a materials guide documenting the performance of different materials in a corrosive environment, while the other involved developing a process to be utilised within the company to manage the access to network assets. The final summer with Unison I was placed with the fault response team of the contracting branch. This gave me first hand experience of the practical aspects of developing and maintaining a distribution network. عرض أقل
