I created a custom web site builder/content management system to start a new agency revenue stream, and worked with agency staff and clients in all phases of web and traditional marketing campaigns.

  I led the planning, creation, and development of a statewide web overhaul for Kentucky's largest postsecondary education provider, Starting from scratch, I led the development of a business case to radically alter the organization's web strategy and resource allocation. My team and I laid the engagement groundwork to secure statewide buy-in, then developed the technical infrastructure, governance model, personnel structures, design, and content to support the simultaneous implementation of a statewide web content management model and 10,000-employee SharePoint intranet. The results were an astronomical increase in traffic and user evaluations, in addition to a model that has been sustained to this day. In the process, we also implemented KCTCS's first project management and change management practices, leading eventually to an enterprise-wide focus on these critical disciplines. Show less

  I built and led the strategic change practice for Kentucky's largest institution of public higher education. Rather than a traditional PMO, the KCTCS CPMO (Change and Project Management Office), was the heart of an integrated approach to strategic change. The CPMO was responsible not only for a unique methodology that included the disciplines of stakeholder engagement, organizational change management, and project portfolio/management, but also for leadership in cultural change, strategic planning, and organizational decision-making processes.
