      The project was to see the effects of rust on engine coolant.The first objective was to find the root cause of rusting in the cylinder head and cylinder blocks (whether the rust is already present in casted parts or generating in the process of final machining). Secondly, rust preventive oil was applied all over machined parts and validate its evaporation rate. The change in engine coolant properties was then observed after 2 weeks when the corresponding cylinder head and blocks were assembled. Show less
