      - Performed research on direct catalytic conversion of methane (CH4) to aromatic liquids (gasoline). Employed online spectroscopy to establish fundamental structure-activity relationships that have the potential to assist the development of improved catalysts.- Presented research at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers National conference in San Francisco in November of 2013 at a poster presentation judged by AIChE professionals from both academia and industry.

      -Construction Estimating Tool Problem/Improvement Database – worked with lead estimator and IT to develop an Access (VBA code) based database for team to enter estimating tool issues and improvement to tools.- Middle East Construction Execution Strategy – led the documentation of estimate basis, work process, and construction strategies for a Hydrogen plant in the Middle East interfacing with a cross-function team during session with APCI & Technip.- Hydrogen Plant Civil Foundation Class 5 Estimate – supported as-design estimate for plant foundations and electrical- Historical Construction Data – collected data to evaluate construction as a percentage of the total capital cost of the project.       Benzene Waste Operations NESHAP (BWON) Program Manager• Manage team of various contractors to ensure all monitoring, inspections, sampling, and appropriate repairs are made to the multiple sources of wastewater benzene refinery-wide in accordance with permits and state & federal regulations.Stack Test Coordinator • Coordinate all stack emissions tests refinery-wide with testing contractors, Operations, Technical Services, and Optimization to demonstrate compliance with permit emissions limits of NOx, CO, VOC, and PM for individual sources. • Conducted 22 stack tests in 6 months on various furnaces and process stacks to comply with permits and new federal regulations including Reasonably Available Control Technology 2, Refinery Sector Rule, Tier 3 low sulfur requirements, and Title V permit.Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) Program • Calculate quarterly and annual emissions of over 200,000 fugitive emissions components, and work with various refinery groups to reduce emissions from leaking sources.• Complete all agency reporting of fugitive emissions of VOC for state and federal regulations and the facility consent decree. Participate in third-party audits and respond to any findings. • Implemented various portions of new MACT CC Refinery Sector Rule including FCCU stack emissions requirements, Group 2 Misc. Process Vents, and assisted with the Pressure Relief Device continuous monitoring program and Bz. Fenceline programs.• Lead Incident Investigator responsible for: managing teams that investigate incidents, developing reports and plans of action to prevent incident recurrence, and presenting investigation findings to refinery leadership.• Support remediation initiatives including carbon system sizing and developing cost benefit analyses for emission control technologies.• Backup coordinator for Relative Accuracy Test Audits on facility Continuous Emissions Monitors.
