      -Working as a dishwasher gave me the valuable skills of time management, organization and efficiency. -Washing dishes was a good first job and it encouraged me to work hard and move up the “business ladder.”-After I had proven my worth and commitment to the restaurant, I was promoted to line cook where I worked for the remainder of my time at the Burrito Union. -As a line cook, I had to be a skilled multi-tasker. I needed to be able to handle customers and make their food under a time constraint while maintaining a pleasant conversation with them.-I operated the register and managed the customer’s money which taught valuable monetary responsibility and attentiveness.
