  • This was primarily a presales consultation and architectural design role, with a small post-sales implementation and problem resolution component. I wrote Proposals and Design Documents and was heavily involved in project planning and direction. I provided high-level technical support in multiple fields. • I was one of a two-person team who designed and created the Computerland Genesis thin-client deployment and operational methodology in 2000 which helped Computerland (later Gen-i) to standardise their support offering around thin client implementations. Genesis was a best-practise unattended installation methodology still in use until recently (2014) which utilises strict version control to ensure reliable thin client systems. It was born of large user environments using Citrix Metaframe environments as their primary computing environment, requiring minimal downtime and fast recovery. Genesis provides consistent, replicable implementations, independent of the specific individuals involved in the implementation or support. Show less
