  • Provide on-site HSE support and guidance to the rig team in their efforts to plan, develop and effectively implement SNEPCO wells HSE-MS, associated programs, policies and government regulations.• Work with rig contractor rig site HSE coordinator to provide coaching, mentoring and guidance for the company staff and contractors on company and regulatory agencies requirements/industry best practices.• Influence safe and reliable operations, aimed at delivering goal zero performance and promoting the live saving rules, at the rig site by ensuring correct application of HSSE tools and techniques.• Act as Assist and Assure coach and execute periodic Assist and Assure assessment of the rig.• Interface with all contractor personnel on the rig and work with the DSV to ensure implementation of SNEPCo Wells HSE MS requirements for the rig.• Assist the onshore team in establishing HSSE targets during the annual HSE planning cycle and in monitoring performance against those targets on the rig.• Conduct daily site inspections, observation tours and local audits on safety critical equipment (SCE) and safety critical tasks, processes and people behavior – especially during critical/high-risk operations to ensure compliance with standards.• Take part in barrier thinking(JHA’s) sessions on the rig, support the HSE lead in the update of the SNEPCo Wells HSE case and bridging documents by leasing, on his behalf with the rig team leadership.• Support the DSV in monitoring implementation of process safety improvement recommendations for the rig.• Assist the DSV with implementation of the Global Wells Management of Change requirements on the rig.• Assist the DSV with permissible / prohibited simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) to ensure that HSE precautions and procedures are utilized.• Daily safe work practice / permit to work system audits to ensure non-routine work carried out in in a potentially hazardous environment on the rig are properly planned and authorized.
