      An information-rich and accurate product catalog is a critical strategic asset for Amazon. It powers unrivaled product discovery, informs customer buying decisions, offers a large selection and positions Amazon as the first stop for product discovery. As part of this team we create innovative solutions to measure and improve the quality of information within Amazon’s product catalog and influence the way millions of customers discover and buy products at Amazon. I lead a team of Catalog Specialists specializing in Content and Catalog Quality for Amazon's Search and Discovery group. My team measures the quality of content and catalog, performs targeted content and catalog corrections and generates training sets to enable catalog improvements at scale through machine learning (ML) across marketplaces.A small snapshot of what we do:• Measure health of the catalog in all aspects of content and catalog quality defects through data quality audits on the catalog using sound statistics. We produce extensive set of metrics on catalog health and recommend plan of action to enrich customer experience• Perform semi-automated catalog corrections to enable targeted customer experience improvement.• Support several ML teams across globe to generate machine training data sets to solve content and catalog quality problems at scale• We mine information and build knowledge bases using machine learning techniques and use it as a foundation to measure and improve data quality within our catalog• We deal with really hard problems.
