      Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is a 147 bed academic medical center supported by 22 pediatric specialties, the region’s only Level IV Neonatal ICU and Pediatric Trauma Center. Reporting to the CEO, led radiology, respiratory therapy and laboratory services with $56M annual revenue, 3 direct reports and 70 FTEs. Direct responsibility for hospital business operations totaling $420M annual revenue including operational budget development, pro forma and financial analysis, strategic plan implementation, and KPI reporting.Recognized by The Leapfrog Group as a 2019 Top Hospital for quality and patient safety. Increased net revenue 12% and contribution margin 10% from FY17 to FY19 thru strategic growth. Increased productivity and reduced appointment lead time from 65 to 24 days across specialties.Orchestrated transition planning to move 11 pediatric practices and 5 hospital-based services into $40M Kennedy Outpatient Center, a finalist for Healthcare Design Magazine’s Showcase Awards. Steered drastic culture change including shifting to open workspaces with no private offices, centralized patient registration and redesigned rapid response protocols. Consolidated and reorganized patient service representatives from 15 to 6 using time interval data to identify inefficiencies, increasing patient referral processing by 12%. Launched patient check-in kiosks and tracker board system to manage patient flow.
