  Quantum optoelectronics research engineer

  Optical spectroscopy of new two-dimensional materials :Study of the optical and vibratory properties of assembled multilayer samples fabricated by ourselves (scotch tape exfoliation), for new combinations of materials.Conducted projects : - Coding of a Python Application for data analysis and treatment. Features : stacked/separate plotting, 3D plotting (three-way axis, contour plots), polar plotting. Additional features : automatic background subtraction for PL and differential reflectivity measurements, noise filtering, spectral deconvolution and Kramers-Kronig transformation of differential reflectivity data.- Differential reflectivity and photoluminescence (PL) measurements on hBN-encapsulated lateral MoS2-WS2 heterostructures and search of new excitonic features on the atomically sharp interface.- Second Harmonic Generation measurements on hBN-encapsulated vertical MoS2-WSe2 heterostructures to reveal the in-situ crystallographic orientation of the constituent crystals by directly tuning the laser on the excitonic resonances of both monolayers.- Photoluminescence excitation (PLE) measurements on hBN-encapsulated 1L-MoS2 and 2H/3R 2L-MoS2. I conducted power output tests on a newly arrived supercontinuum laser (NKT SuperK Fianium) to test its performance and then used it to identify the main excitonic transitions of the material by comparing the data with some previously performed reflectivity measurements in our group.
