  As Country Program Coordinator for an international non-profit organization managed implementation of projects across multiple location in Ethiopia. The program management engagement was specifically on areas of health and nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, animal health care and disaster response. Lead a team of around 30 international mid-career level professionals in delivering the project outcomes and outputs with a program outlay of more than US$20 million. Represented the organization in all technical and program related engagements with higher level official at the national and regional government level. Led the organization’s country strategy paper preparation and provided strategic programmatic leadership in acquiring resources for implementation of the strategy. Produced various analytic reports and annual progress reports for the country program and got it approved with the top management for wider circulation. Show less
