  Teach the Story is a non-profit mission organization focused on teaching numerous poor pastors and wives who are unable to open the Bible and teach well. Poverty shackles them such that they can’t afford formal education. Yet they are hungry to learn. And, if given a chance, they rise to the challenge.The difficulty of bringing education to these servants is that they do not learn the same way we do in the West. These men and women live in oral cultures that pass important information from generation to generation through story form. As a result, it is the stories told which permeate and persist.
