  The management and appropriate delegation of operations in the Tshwane Region. Playing a direct management and management support role at an operational level as may be required from time to time with regard to CCMA core business including but, not limited to, the scheduling and allocation of commissioner work. Ensuring that all monthly reports are submitted to the National Office in terms of standard operating procedures. Supporting the CSC in implementing and maintaining effective performance management systems. Ensuring that individual employees are held accountable for underperformance and misconduct and that the CCMA disciplinary and grievance procedures are appropriately used by employees and applied by management. Ensuring that the region performs at a consistently high operational level to meets at least 60% (including statutory requirements) of national efficiencies and that systems are in place to maintain and improve on such performance in the next financial year. As and when required during the life of this Contract, the CCMA may call upon the Commissioner to – Perform dispute resolution and dispute prevention functions, including conciliation, mediation, facilitation and arbitration; Provide training in dispute resolution and dispute prevention skills and procedures to new Commissioners and others requiring training; and Perform the functions of a Commissioner of the CCMA under the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995 or any other applicable statute.
