  Operational Duties:• Participate in the design and implementation of all M&E activities including field visits, data collection, analysis, report writing and dissemination and report writing• Provide inputs for the development of common indicators, tools and processes• Ensure that each project has logical framework and Implementation Plan. This involves: a. providing technical advice to beneficiaries to independently develop their logframes and plan b. ensuring that realistic targets are definedc. formulating an accurate baseline d. identifying sources of data and collection methods• In coordination with the Operations Department, ensure that project planning including inputs and targets is aligned with overall goals of the Fund • Responsible for establishing a reliable and consistent set of indicators for all projects• Participate in the creation of M&E framework, tools and methodologies• Participate in the preparation and implementation of the M&E annual workplan• Collect and analyse data on monitoring and evaluation activities of the Fund and prepare reports to facilitate decision making• Promote a results-based approach to monitoring and evaluation, emphasizing results and impacts• Assist in analyzing overall performance on quarterly and yearly basis• Report on the effectiveness of EDAIF activities, constraints and present recommendations for improvement• Provide monthly and quarterly updates to be shared with board and management• Carry out performance assessment of implementing partners on periodic basis Show less
