      Worked as trial attorney prosecuting misdemeanors for one year. Then moved to juvenile wards unit prosecuting misdemeanors and felonies committed by juveniles. Next moved to felony drug unit prosecuting felony drug cases. Last assignment at the office was vertical prosecution unit in satellite office in Sunnyvale. Responsible for evaluating police report for possible charges; filing case; pre-trial motions and hearings; jury trial if necessary and sentencing.

      In this multifunctional role, I currently lead operations across the Communications Center, coordinating with 911 network and service providers in managing a sophisticated 911 secondary PSAP, ensuring efficient operations. With a team of 24 sworn and civilian employees, I guide the delivery of 911 fire and medical dispatching services for the Stockton, Lodi, Lathrop, Manteca, and Tracy Fire Departments.I directed the Communications Center during the final stages of the 911 live-caller acquisition, where I ensured compliance with Senate Bill 438; steered new acquisition in boosting daily call volume and citizens served to 750K+ in San Joaquin County.By developing a Request for Proposal (RFP), I played a key role in onboarding a consultant for staffing study in the Communications Center.I identified funding and restructured resources for a CAD Manager position in the Communications Center.I was instrumental in the development of new strategies to help improve management of mental health crises in the field.Ensured all Fire/EMS department personnel received required specialized training that ensured alignment with regulation changes and trends in fire and emergency medical services administration and operations. Show less Taking on the role of Battalion Chief, I led a team of 22 suppression personnel across six fire stations, while monitoring the response capabilities of EMS, fire suppression, and special operations team programs.Contributed to the success of Homeless Outreach team, delivering medical resources to the unhoused community of Stockton.As a key support to the Leadership-Management team, I aided the City Manager's Office in the development of a strategic plan for the Fire Department.Served as a representative for the Management group in Labor Negotiations with the City of Stockton.I was appointed to represent California Fire Chief Officers (Cal Chiefs) on the California EMSA strategic planning sub-committee, and as Treasurer for Cal Chiefs EMS Section, North Branch.Secured certification from the City Manager's Office for the completion of City of Stockton Leadership Academy. I was a Captain for the Suppression Division, where I ensured fire, EMS, and personnel remained ready for emergency response.Representative for the Fire Department on City's STOP taskforce, where I targeted dangerous or abandoned properties with Building Department and Code Enforcement Team.Water Rescue Assistant Program Manager, where I guided a team of 40+ surface rescue and dive trained members in responding to water-related emergencies in San Joaquin County and State of California.Assistant Team Leader for the CAL OES Boat Team 13 during winter storm deployments.I introduced inter-agency Helo-Aquatic training, coordinating efforts with the California National Guard, California Highway Patrol, US Coast Guard, and San Joaquin Co.
