Industry Collaboration:• I foster strong industry partnerships, driving impactful collaborations through programs like internships and final-year projects.• I manage the Centre of IT Innovation that serve as a catalyst for these collaborations, providing a platform for industry engagement and project development.• I spearhead initiatives such as the Skills-UP Accelerator Program, leveraging the School's expertise in Pre-Employment Training (PET) to deliver industry-relevant training in data analytics, AI, and RPA. This empowers businesses with the skills and knowledge to enhance their operations through digital transformation and automation.2. Innovation & Project Management:• I lead and manage innovative projects in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.• My team and I address real-world challenges faced by industry partners, developing and implementing innovative solutions that deliver tangible business value.• I also oversee internal projects focused on digital transformation and system modernization within the school, ensuring operational efficiency and future-readiness.3. Teaching and Learning• Besides teaching software development subjects, I also lead a team that provides rigorous training to students participating in WorldSkills competitions at national, ASEAN, and international levels.• I serve as the Singaporean expert in the IT Software Solutions for Business skill area, ensuring fair and responsible competition practices.• In the recent WorldSkills Singapore 2023 competition, our student team achieved an unprecedented sweep of all medals, subsequently representing Singapore at the WorldSkills ASEAN and Lyon competitions.
