      I was unexpectedly retrenched from the Westin Hotel at the end of March 2012. It was particularly challenging to find a job during winter time in the hospitality industry, so in an attempt to overcome this, I went over the the UK in July 2012 (I have a British passport so no visas/work permits were required) This was the time during the London Olympics, so I rated my chances of finding employment in the UK better than in SA. Whilst this was an experience which enabled much growth, (and experience of another kind) it unfortunately did not work out, and I returned to SA in September 2012. Unemployed: April - December 2012 Offered and accepted the position of Recruitment and Training Manager at Relocation Africa (PTY) Ltd in January 2013. Show less
