Provide project management support for the implementation of Liberia Renewable Energy Access project (LIRENAP), a US$ 27million World Bank project that funds the construction of a hybrid mini-grid system (2.5MW hydropower plant at Kahia2 site; 115km of 33kV transmission lines; 33/0.4kV LV lines; 1.8MW diesel power plant as backup) in rural Liberia, among others.2. Lead on the provision of technical oversight of LIRENAP.3. Provide technical support to other rural electrification projects of the RREA, as may be required, such as assisting the preparation of project appraisal documents, and development of high-level project management plan, reviewing reports of feasibility studies, etc. Directly involved with the development of several mini-hydropower schemes, including the 2.13MW on the River Gee, Rivergee; 9.34MW at Gbedin Falls, Nimba; 2MW on River Sinoe, Sinoe County, among others. Specifically, managed the “Lighting Lives in Liberia project”, a US$ 1.45 million World Bank project that targeted the goal of providing modern renewable energy services, via solar PV technology, to off-grid users in Liberia. The project achieved 0.115MW installed capacity of solar PV technology, which impacted over 80,000 people in rural Liberia.2. Provided engineering and project management support for LIRENAP, which supports a 2.5MW hybrid hydro-diesel mini-grid system as described supra.
