  President- MHS Red Cross Club-Under my leadership the club was awarded the "Most Outstanding High School Red Cross Club" for the Metro New York North Region. We hold many monthly events such as, -Club sponsored blood drives at a local church, synagogue or other hall. -Participate in many drills and training classes such as the Westchester County airport drill in which we played victims of a plane crash. -Hold training classes with the Red Cross and local Fire departments in CPR and First Aid. -Hold toy drives for Blythedale Childrens Hospital every holiday season. -I along with other club members helped set up and staff the shelters at our school for Hurricane sandy as well as other disasters that occurred within our community. -On Martin Luther King day we hand out fire safety prevention pamphlets in our community. -We march in many local parades. -The club also helps with veterans and armed service members by sending holiday cards to them. -We have volunteered and participated in drills at the local nursing home. -We assist the Red Cross and other local organizations in anything they need.
