      Co-led Montana Legacy Project, the largest conservation land acquisition in US history, protecting 310,000-acres, valued at $500m. Managed staff of three, directing statewide conservation efforts in Montana. Launched state office in New Mexico, led ambitious $14m Santa Fe Park and Plaza project, 10,000-acre Ute Mountain acquisition and 2,500-acre Taos Valley Overlook project. Launched Tribal Lands program, working with Northern New Mexico Pueblos to return over 11,000 acres of ancestral lands.

As Executive Director, led a six-person team for a $350m foundation focused on improving the quality of life for rural communities in the Intermountain West.       Recruited by Governor Bullock to lead Parks in Focus Initiative, creating and managing 12-person Advisory Board and crafting final recommendations report aimed at revitalizing Montana’s state parks system. Launched statewide collaborative that resulted in first-ever dedicated statewide conservation funding for wildlife, working lands, state parks, and recreational trails.

      Senior Leadership Team member and Director of RLF's conservation and grantmaking portfolios in the Intermountain West, focused on supporting tribal and rural community economic development and Indigenous-led conservation. Oversee 5-year Western Conservation Communications Hub, focused on building communications capacity for front-line and under-resourced organizations across the West. Co-lead RLF's Indigenous work, including in-depth trainings focused on de-colonizing conservation, grantmaking to support dam removal, marine stewardship, and the creation of Indigenous Guardians programs.       WORC’s mission is to advance the vision of a democratic, sustainable, and just society through community action. WORC is committed to building sustainable environmental and economic communities that balance economic growth with the health of people and stewardship of their land, water, and air resources. Formed in 1979, Western Organization of Resource Councils is a network of nine grassroots organizations (located in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Montana’s seven Native American reservations, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, and Wyoming) with 22,750 members and 38 local chapters. WORC helps its member groups succeed by providing training, coordinating issue work and advancing the vision of a democratic, sustainable and just society through community action. Over the last forty years, WORC has built a grassroots base of concerned citizens working for stewardship and conservation of the land, water, and energy resources; family farms and sustainable agriculture; and civic engagement.
