  Attended core and introductory level workshops, gaining broad exposure to the various disciplines and careers within the field of engineering. Topics included: Bioengineering; Civil, Sustainable and Environmental Engineering; Computer Science and Engineering; Electrical and Computer Engineering; and Mechanical Engineering. Collaborated with team of four to complete various engineering lab projects such as creating a tower of cards able to withstand the airflow of an industry size fan as well as coding a computer to display a LED light show. Accomplished final team project by building a cart using only provided materials that could travel 30 feet using kinetic energy while holding a catapult that could launch a marshmallow to a target 10 feet away.
