  Carr Gomm is a national Scottish charity that supports people to lead their lives safely and to do the things they want to do: in day-to-day living, in planning for the future and in realising dreams. Our vision is that we all live in a society where everyone has the support they need to make choices and to control their lives. We do this by providing support services and community activities, delivered by highly trained and committed workers. In Inverness and throughout the Highlands, we specialise in providing respite support for people with a range of disabilities and illnesses and their carers. The Carr Gomm shop, based in the Victorian Market, plays a vital role in achieving this vision through fundraising to create more opportunities for people in Inverness who live life with a disability to try something new, set a goal or overcome a personal challenge. These initiatives change people’s lives and positively impact on those who care for them. Show less
