At Valley Tutoring, I tutored a 2nd grader in mathematics and English. As his tutor, I framed lessons using his interests so that he will take in more information. For example, I incorporated his favorite TV shows or toys into the lessons to make them more engaging. I also regularly communicated with his parents to make sure I wasn't going off track with the material I was tutoring him in.
